So, I’m not really good at the blogging thing but I’m sure you guys all figured that out already. It’s been a VERY busy month which is unusual for January. I’m usually bored and ansty after all the festivities of the holidays. January usually ends up being cold and dull with nothing going on. But, this January has been completely different except that it has been cold…REALLY REALLY cold. So I’ve decided to go to Mexico. I can’t take it anymore. I finally convinced my husband to take me away. We went to Mexico 2 years ago and loved it. It was a totally laid back vacation where we did nothing except run, swim, lie on the beach and snorkel. I can’t wait to do it again. And then when I get back I will be starting a new job. After 5 years at my current job it’s time for a change. A great opportunity came along and I jumped at the chance. One of the best parts is that the hours are completely flexible which will be much easier for me to get all my training in and for me to fit in my coaching and personal training clients. I’m a little nervous starting something new and I know I will have a lot to learn and a lot to try to remember from my physical therapy school days but I believe that change is good. I made some changes in my training routines this year (with the help of my coach of course!) and they seem to be paying off so far. So, it’s the year of change! I have been training my butt off the past few weeks and loving every minute of it. 5000m of swimming yesterday (pure craziness!). But all my upcoming workouts will be done with thoughts of the hot sun shining in my face and the taste of salt water in my mouth as I swim. I am counting the days. It can’t come soon enough.
